Why Consistency Beats Complexity in Treating Nail Fungus

When it comes to beating nail fungus, many people fall into the trap of overcomplicating their routine. But as someone who battled it for over 20 years, I can tell you: simplicity wins.
The key is consistency. An overly long, cumbersome routine is hard to stick to — and missed days let the fungus regroup. Instead, keep your nail and foot care under three minutes a day. File and trim regularly, use a brush and pumice in the shower to keep skin healthy, and apply an anti-fungal every night.
And don’t forget: fungus adapts. Many anti-fungals work well at first, only to lose effectiveness over time. That’s why I rotate clinically proven antifungal creams every 45–60 days — terbinafine, clotrimazole, naftifine, and others — to stay ahead of the fungus.
Your healthy nail will grow slowly but surely if you just keep at it. Take monthly progress pictures; it’s motivating to see the improvement over time!
